Construction Under $15 Million

Each year, the Chicago Building Congress presents six “Merit Awards” to honor outstanding projects in greater Chicagoland built during the past three years. Merit Awards are awarded in the following categories:

  1. New Construction - Chicago
  2. New Construction - Suburbs
  3. Rehab Construction
  4. Construction Under $15 Million
  5. Interior Buildouts
  6. Infrastructure Construction

The Merit Awards Program commence with the submission of “Intents to Nominate” in January. Nomination packages with photos and write-ups are received in February and the Judging process begins in March. In May, CBC hosts the gala Merit Awards Dinner, where winning projects are awarded granite “cornerstones.” For more information on these awards please contact the CBC office at 630/393-1313.
